Performing my activity: Eating Breakfast (Toast)
Documentation as I perform this activity:
Process: (Toast is all ready made with jam and butter spread) Picking up the toast once is has been made picking it up in my hands and taking a bite which is then chewed and swallowed as I enjoy the indulging flavors of berry and butter.
Sense Throughout my Breakfast (Munching on toast):
- Smell - I can smell the toast as well as the jam and butter which infuse into the bread as it melts creating a smell of a fusion aroma. I can also smell the kitchen smell and coffee my parents make and drink. I can smell the steam and heat that the toast is producing
- Taste - As I take my first bight I feel the crunchy bread on my tongue as I eat my toast upright and as I chew the flavors are flipped and then it hits my tongue giving me a rush of berries and sweet butter. As I chew the toast it turns from a crunchy texture with flavors embedded above which then after my standard 20 chews turns into a mush of food and nutrients which is tasteless until it is swallowed and the taste buds get ready for another hit.
- Sight - I can see the bread, my plate, the flavors on the toast, the table Im eating on, people around me. Our sight is vital when eating as we seem to always go for the juiciest corner first which has the most flavor just to satisfy our taste buds and also helps up to put the food in our mouths to consume
- Sound - Can hear morning ruffle and bustle around the house, cars on the street. As I eat my toast I can hear the crunch of each bite as my toast was perfectly toasted to a good level of crisp, I can also hear myself chew and then swallow to complete the eating process
- Touch - I can feel the hard toast, the flavors on the toast, heat dispersing from the toast, touch the plate when Im done and when serching for crumbs that can also be consumed to finish every last piece
From this information I will create a write up about my experience and what I learnt as well as producing two images to support my discovers
