Project One Part A - ReDesign
Now that I have taken my lighting device apart I will arrange them all the components to see which I will keep and how I will "redesign" this lighting device to improve it.
Exploded view of my product, you can see all the components and how my lighting device works especially the wireless charging you can see the magnet and coil components.
Components I will be using in my redesign will be the top facing LED lights, the main board including the batteries and sensor and all the components required for the wireless charging.
Improvements I want to make to my new resolved design includes the sensor being place in a different place so it gets 360 degrees of light, entirely change the aesthetics as they are poor at the moment and want to make it more modern, change it so it does not require a power point so it can be placed anywhere but mainly near the door as I want my new design to be a door light as people always struggle to enter the house without light and you don't want to wake people up in the early morning if its late making noise looking for the light switch and everything so having it sensor activated at the door it creates that illumination for you to get inside quirky without making as much noise and not disturbing anyone else.
