After much thought and brainstorming I have realized that with my chosen science fiction genre and dual universe theme that it would be easy to construct effective images but it would be very hard to convey a narrative theme and understanding throughout therefore I have changed my idea and proposal to a more narrative theme.
New Proposal:
For my presentation I will present 5 effectively constructed images exploring narrative and . a theme/genre of drama. I will be exploring the the figurative term of "work until you die" and look into how people apply a facade showing that they are happy but they in-fact are not. There is always a thought in our minds as we do any activity in life thinking I wish I was doing something else, to express this I will be using my brother as my subject and we will go through his daily activities and through ethnography research I will look into times of his day which he can see himself doing another activity which he actually wants to do rather than be at work or awake in the early morning. To present my idea I will take images of my subject doing his everyday routine and I will construct an image which is what he would rather be doing than being unhappy and place that image in front of his existing scene to show the contrast and express my idea of how everyone in life has the same everyday routine and we act as if we are happy but we are not and this express how we would all rather be doing something else. I will use precedents and photo shoots to construct my idea into a strong presentation.
