Process:

Now that I have created my renders and have finalized my design I will start the process to creating my light ReDesign. 

Initially to achieve that form I want to create I had to buy aluminum steel to hand lathe and wood to turn to shape to create my cylindrical  form to create my torch aspect.

 After turning my aluminum steel I created this form which is half of my final form, I wanted to contrast the polished wood with a brushed finish on my metal opposed to a polished look

After turning on the wood lathe I ended up with this form, my choice of wood was Kwila as it looks nice aesthetically and it is a solid wood. it looks nice and will create a nice modern look within my environment.

So I could have my form as one I created a lip system where the wood over laps the metal so I can later join it together to create the form as one as I want it to be
