Project One Part A - ReDesign
Process:
Once all my electronics were finished I started constructing my base using glue to form the shape with my laser cut pieces and for the torch component gluing in the base, switch, LED housing as well as a piece of clear acrylic to encase it all
An image of my base in its final form, I like the simple form which contrasts the cylindrical torch piece as it creates a nice balance and the kwila wood makes it look modern especially with the wood oil which completes the aesthetic modern look I was going for .
This is just an image I took when experimenting, shows the amount of light that is illuminated from my LEDs, quite bright, sufficient to light up an entire room.
