Project One Proposal:
"Science fiction is a genre of fiction with imaginative content such as settings in the future, futuristic science and technology, space travel, parallel universes, aliens, and paranormal abilities. Exploring the consequences of scientific innovations is one purpose of science fiction, making it a "literature of ideas". For my idea to create my final 5 images I want to experiment with the "parallel universes" theme within the science-fiction genre. For this project I want to create a large array of ideas which the viewer will perceive in their own way. With parallel universes I want to bring out that feeling of what else is out there in other universes and using my camera and editing in photoshop to show the viewer the experience of parallel universes through a series of images. As children we would always stare into the sky thinking whats out there, or create this image in our minds that space is actually closer than what the eyes perceive. To create a more effective series of images for this theme and genre I want to be using perspective shots in first person create the effect that the imaginary parallel universes theme could be intact reality. Through a wide range of precedent studies and research I will construct 5 images which use the genre of science fiction to create a effective series of images that will display narration of my idea of parallel universes.
